Spark

Your AI-powered study companion. Spark analyzes your mistakes, generates flashcards from your material, and suggests exactly what to review next.

1What Spark does

Spark is FocusPace's AI helper. It won't do the thinking for you. It's there to spot patterns you might miss, explain what keeps tripping you up, and turn your raw material into clear next steps.

Think of it as a study buddy that has read your notes and seen your mistakes. Open the Spark section and the “For You” area shows personalised suggestions plus a Daily Challenge drawn from your own material.

Spark is metered in AI credits. Every plan includes a monthly allowance, and each Spark action costs a few credits depending on the work it does. You only spend credits when Spark actually returns something, so a cached answer or a failed request costs you nothing. If your allowance runs out, Spark pauses until it resets or you top up, and everything else in FocusPace keeps working.

For example

Stuck on a concept? Spark can re-explain it in plainer terms and point you to the exact cards or notes worth reviewing next.

2Where Spark appears

Spark isn't one screen. It shows up wherever a second opinion helps. In Mistake Log it gives a root-cause read and a self-check question. In Focus Cards it generates cards from your material. In Focus Maps, Spark Cards turns nodes into flashcards. Long-press a task for Task Spark, why it feels hard, an approach, and a concrete first step.

For example

A task that's been sitting untouched for days? Long-press it and Spark suggests a small first step to break the resistance.

3The Daily Challenge

Each day, Spark pulls one question from your material and offers it as a quick challenge, with a “Reveal hint” if you're stuck. It's a low-pressure way to practise recall between sessions: glance at it, try to answer in your head, move on. Those micro-moments add up.

Tip

Spark needs sign-in and a connection. Offline, keep working, your notes, cards, and mistakes are all there; come back to Spark when you reconnect.
